PR Liaison Specialist
Job Summary:
The PR Liaison Specialist is responsible for coordinating communication between the organization and external stakeholders, including media representatives, ambassadors, endorsers and the public. This role supports the development and execution of public relations strategies to enhance the organization’s image, promote brand awareness, and manage media relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for media inquiries and external communications.
Support the development and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Coordinate and facilitate interviews, press events, and media coverage.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and key industry contacts.
Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to management.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging.
Assist in crisis communication planning and execution.
Track PR campaign performance and assist in evaluating effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 1 - 2 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in event planning or coordination.
Knowledge of local and international media landscapes.
Proficiency in social media and digital communications platforms.
