JOB SUMMARY

The position is primarily responsible for ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the Clinic premises and in assisting patients or customers going in and out of the Clinic. Work includes travel to and from different points for purposes of transmittal or coordination with other offices and branches.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Doorman/Utility/Messenger performs various duties depending on the set-up of the Clinic and assigned tasks:

 
  1. Doorman assigned at the Entrance door are expected to:
  1. Be alert and vigilant of patients or customers arriving and leaving the Clinic;
  2. Approach the vehicles of patients BEFORE patients alight from their vehicles; ensure umbrella is ready as needed for standalone clinics;
  3. Accommodate request for valet parking if service is available; endorse to the assigned Doorman for this task;
  4. Greet patients (preferably using their names if regular customers) as they enter the Clinic (“Welcome to Belo Medical Group”) or thank them for coming as they leave the Clinic (“Thank you for coming.”);
  5. Assist patients or customers with their belongings or things.
 
  1. Doorman assigned outside the clinic to do valet parking are expected to:
  1. Assist patients in parking their vehicles.
  2. Open doors for the patients entering or alighting from their vehicles;
  3. Ensure proper safekeeping and tagging of the keys of the car;
  4. Take the necessary care in parking the patient’s vehicle in a safe area and in driving the vehicle.
 
  1. Specific duties in the upkeep of Clinic premises:
  1. Ensure timely opening of the Clinic if assigned as the Opener; If assigned as Closer, ensures that Clinic premises are cleaned thoroughly and properly in preparation for next day’s operations and that Clinic entrances and exits are locked upon closing;
  2. Conduct regular cleaning and ensures overall cleanliness of clinic premises (inside and outside, if applicable) at all times;
  3. Regularly checks and cleans restrooms ensuring that there is ample supply of soap, tissue paper, lotion, etc and that trash bin is not full;
  4. Check and maintains cleanliness of common areas, pantry, treatment rooms and other areas and reports broken machines, equipment or fixtures to the Branch Officer for proper action;
  5. Responsible for switching on and off of lights and airconditioning units based approved guidelines and keeping in mind energy conservation efforts;
  6. Prepare dirty towels for laundry service pick-up and receives clean towels delivery;
  7. Reconcile count of towels for laundry and delivery with laundry service supplier;
  8. Arrange newly delivered towels properly inside designated cabinets;
  9. Help out in handling heavy items inside the clinics such as water dispenser, deliveries, etc.;
  10. Ensure adequate supply of water, coffee, tea or other supplies in the Clinic;
  11.  Help out in preparing and serving of beverages/refreshments to patients;
  12. Clean pantry before leaving the clinic; washes all used plates, glasses, utensils etc.;
  13. Conduct regular general cleaning of the clinic and maintenance work as per agreed upon schedule;
  14. Perform minor handyman works such as changing of bulbs, repair or troubleshooting of minor equipment;
  15. Assist or oversees contractors during renovation or repair works in the Clinic.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Graduate
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
