JOB SUMMARY
The Project Management officer shall be responsible for planning and leading all range of construction projects from Pre-design to turnover. Shall be knowledgeable in project delivery, technically equipped to create on-site decisions, and be able to communicate properly with contractors and suppliers.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Duties and Responsibilities
1. Communicate with designers during the design phase to ensure all design outputs adheres to Belo requirements and standards.
2. Initiate bidding and review contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and legally compliant before submitting to GSD head.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies for construction projects. Ensure efficient execution of all construction activities, adhering to project timelines and milestones.
4. Manage the construction budget, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of work.
5. Oversee and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that construction work meets specified standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Identify potential risks and challenges in construction projects and implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays and additional costs.
7. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and guidelines on construction sites to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
8. Attends and presides on site meetings and provides regular status reports on construction projects to GSD head.
9. Evaluate and manage changes to construction projects, including scope changes and variations, while assessing their impact on cost and schedule. Backed up with written confirmation from all parties involved.
10. Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
11. Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: BS Architecture, BS Civil engineering Graduate or related to. License holder
Experience: With at least 2 years of intensive work experience related to construction and project management.
